DESCRIPTION:VIS 2013\, the 1st Online Conference on Virtual and Digital St
 orytelling\, is organized by the Swiss Distance University of Applied Scie
 nces (FFHS) and SWITCH. \n\nVIS 2013 wishes to bring together national and
  international experts in the field of e-learning\, teachers\, researchers
 \, stakeholders and other interested persons. In particular\, all members 
 of the eduhub community are welcome to join the conference as presenters a
 nd/or participants.\n\nThis half-day online conference on the topic “Lea
 rning with Stories in Education and Business” presents personal and inst
 itutional experiences and visions about the use of stories in learning set
 tings. The conference will be held online with SWITCHinteract.\n\nKeynote 
 Joe Lambert\, founder of the Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkeley\,
  USA\, will share his experiences about digital storytelling with the part
 icipants.\n\nRegistration and call for abstracts are open until October 25
 \, 2013
