DESCRIPTION:The GUIDE Association – Global Universities in Distance Educ
 ation – is a non-profit\, non-political and non-secretarial organization
 \, which originated from the need to strengthen the international cooperat
 ion between universities and institutions worldwide with the goal to creat
 e a new university model\, able to mix scientific mastery with flexible kn
 owledge methods.\nThe 5th Guide International Conference will therefore fo
 cus on “E-learning innovative models for the integration of education\, 
 technology and research”. Other topics will be e-evaluation\, e-assessme
 nt and self-assessment process that enable both teachers and students to a
 ssess the ongoing acquisition of knowledge as well as to build flexible le
 arning paths.\nFurthermore participants will have the opportunity to discu
 ss issues related to the use of digital devices such as education simulato
 rs\, interactive multimedia blackboards\, 3D environments reconstructions\
 , etc.\, ensuring a higher level of interaction with the educational envir
 onment and contents.\n
