DESCRIPTION:The principal objectives of International New Media Conference
  are to develop critical frameworks and methodologies that enable the rece
 ption\, consumption and impact of new technologies\, specifically the conf
 erence addresses human-computer interaction\, computer-mediated communicat
 ion\, social interaction and networking\, group dynamics\, organizational 
 contexts and cultural contexts\,to contextualize the environments\, discou
 rses\, ideologies\, and uses of new media technologies\, and to address th
 e specific implications of the increasing convergence of media forms. To m
 onitor the conditions of emergence of new media technologies\, their subse
 quent mass production and the development of new cultural forms. To promot
 e discussion and analysis of the creative and educational potentials of th
 ose technologies\, and to contextualise those cultural practices within wi
 der cultural and political debates.\n
