The e-teaching-Transfer Lab cordially invites all colleagues to the 2026 company outing on Tuesday, June 23 in Tübingen (Derendingen/Rammert). All information, surveys, and registration options are compiled on this page, which will be updated continuously.

Update on Lunch
The plan for lunch has changed. Originally, we wanted to go to a nearby restaurant together after the archery, game and hiking activities. Unfortunately, it turns out that all beer gardens don’t open until 5 pm and won’t make an exception for us – that’s far too late ;-)
Instead, lunch is coming to us: from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, freshly made crêpes will be served at the Schützenhaus. For €10, everyone will receive a savoury galette and a sweet crêpe (also available vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free).
We hope this is fine for everyone who had signed up for lunch. If there is anyone who signed up but now doesn’t want to eat a galette or crêpe, please let us know by June 10 (via email to Petra Hohls: p.hohls@iwm-tuebingen.de).
How will the company outing take place?
Date: Tue, 23 June 2026
Time: approx. 9am-2pm
Meetingpoint:
- Hiking group: 9 am at the village fountain in Derendingen (Derendingen Käppele – Tübingen bus stop)
- ‘Archery and Games’ group: 9 am at the village fountain in Derendingen (Derendingen Käppele - Tübingen Bus stop) or (by car) 9:15 am at the Schützenhaus Derendingen, Waldstr. 90.
Payment: If you signed up for archery (€15) and/or lunch (€10), you can pay Petra Hohls in cash (exact change appreciated) before or on the day of the company outing at the Schützenhaus. Please make use of the pay-as-you-go refreshments available at the Schützenhaus (also in cash). The prices are reasonable, and buying refreshments is a way of supporting the Schützenverein, which is providing us with the venue free of charge.
Itinerary: We will meet at 9 am at the village fountain in Tübingen/Derendingen (Derendingen Käppele bus stop). The ‘Archery and Games’ group will then walk together to the Derendingen Schützenhaus (approx. 20-minute walk). The hiking group will start their walk in the opposite direction. Lunch will be served to everyone from 11:30 am at the Schützenhaus. Here is a slightly more detailed description of the two options:
We will be divided into groups of 10 for approximately 45-minute introductory sessions in archery (cost approx. €15 per person). Anyone not currently taking part in archery sessions will have the chance to try out new or familiar games; beverages will also be available. You will receive further information on group allocation. From 11.30 am, galettes and crêpes will be freshly prepared for us at the Schützenhaus.
Apart from a slightly longer climb, the path is easy and suitable for all fitness levels. It leads, among other places, across the Kressbach golf course and offers varied landscapes and beautiful views. A (picnic) break is, of course, also planned. Please remember to bring drinks, sun protection, and anything else you might need for a walk on a hot summer's day. The walk ends at the Schützenhaus in Derendingen, where galettes and crêpes will be freshly prepared for us from 11.30 am.
