The Opencast community is an international collaboration of individuals, higher education institutions and organizations working together to discuss, develop, define and document best practices for the management of audiovisual content in academia. The conference is dedicated to the use and management of academic video in general and Opencast in particular. While the focus of the event will be on Opencast, the community seeks participation from related domains and projects.

The Opencast Summit 2021 will take place between 6th and 9th April 2021. It will spread through 4 days (instead of the usual 3 days). Although there will be no physical presence, we would like to organise online events which will potentially include live music performances. You can participate in these events ad-hoc. No prior registration is necessary.
